Who We Are

Hope Centers is a New Mexico-based 501(c)(3) charity, made up of churches, businesses and individuals with one goal: to serve the poorest of the poor. We are, at our heart, an organization that seeks desperately to stand in the gap for children who simply cannot stand for themselves. In many cases, they have lost their parents, have been abandoned, are living on the streets, and are in desperate need.

Since 2000, through partnerships with local churches, we provide food and student scholarships to some of the poorest children in the Philippines and Thailand. Each year we serve about 100,000 meals, and go to great lengths to ensure that our funds are spent to take care of the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of the children. Please do make a donation and help us change lives.

The Lonely Kafubu Hippo

hippo

Check out our friend Chris Kohn's new childrens book “The Lonely Kafubu Hippo”! Our prayer is that this simple story of an orphaned hippo who makes his way toward the Father heart of God (based on a real Zambian folktale and a real Zambian worship song), will bless you and your families and especially the children in your life…and the cool thing is that when you purchase “The Lonely Kafubu Hippo” all profits from the sale of the book will go toward funding child-focused projects through Heart for the World and other Christian non-profit organizations.
