We are feeding approximately 2000 kids on a regular basis.
HOW WE WORK
We invest the money that we raise by working with the local pastors and have teams in place by letting them be the signature to the people, rather than a group of
foreigners coming in with money.
We love to go to the poor and in the communities we are known now as an organization who is there to stay. We value to be known in the communities, with all roads leading back to the local churches that are serving in the areas.
We believe this is one of the things that sets us apart as an organization.
A HOPE CENTER WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS...
We always provide a feeding depending on the area and number of kids will determine the meal they will be given. Typically we are feeding in most places once a week. They would also be discipled during this time. They would hear stories or often we engage them in the story. This culture is amazingly gifted and talented and bring much life to any event they are a part of. They love to do group activities, loving to dance and choreograph songs is the most fun ☺ We encourage parents, usually moms, if available to be a part of preparation of food or teachings. In some areas we would teach moms how to prepare better meals on a low or no income, teach on health issues, basic hygiene -
just again wanting to impart tools that will make for a better family life.
The centers will try and come together as they can and have a large gathering or party where they are allowed to dance for each other and just share what is going on.
